Alessandro di Mariano Filipepi, better known as Sandro Botticelli (1445-1510), was an Italian painter of the Florentine school, he was creating during Renaissance. Author of many mithological and religious paintings and portraits. His aim was not to show characters as such but to show their personality. Characteristic for his works are cold and pure colours and accuracy of the drawing. Highest quality prints on canvas of works by Botticelli will constitute an excellent traditional interior decoration.
